Book club which meets monthly – previously in a meeting room at Barnwood – future arrangements tbc after the EDF move to Gloucester Business Park

We have a simple format: each member is invited to choose a book, and we meet once a month to chat about the book scheduled for that date. With the current membership, one set of choices lasts about a year. This results in a very varied reading list to which a common reaction is “I would never have thought of reading this, but I’m really glad I did”. Just for fun we each give a score out of 10, resulting in a ranking for nearly 200 ‘past reads’ so far.
