Update from the S&SC Committee:
The ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and situation around EDF’s proposed office re-location mean that there are still many uncertainties and limitations on what the club can offer both at the moment and over the coming months into the future. The committee would like to reassure all members that we remain fully engaged with EDF on both discussions around what options there will be for the club at the new office site and also about bringing activities back to Barnwood over the next few weeks/months as the government restrictions gradually lift. Please bear in mind there will be a certain amount of caution on re-starting Barnwood activities, given that the primary focus of the EDF facilities team is to ensure that Barnwood stays covid-safe as a workplace.
As soon as there is definite news to share on any of these issues, we will let you all know. We are also liaising with our section committees and all feedback and input received this way is very welcome.
