The S&SC are helping promote the Barnwood Supercharge ParalympicsGB Fundraising event next week from 20th to 22nd September to help raise money to continue to support our Paralympians beyond the Rio games.
The organisers are looking for teams to get involved and try out some Paralympic sports, volunteers to help run some of the events and donations of cakes for the cake stall on Wednesday.
Join in and have a go at sitting volleyball or boccia, take part in the quiz, silent auction or sweepstake; or shop at the cake and book sales!!
PLEASE SHARE THE INFORMATION WITH YOUR SECTIONS AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO ATTEND – YOU COULD EVEN ENTER AN S&SC TEAM!
If any associate or retired members would like to attend you are very welcome, please sign in and collect a green pass at reception when you arrive.
Entry in the tournaments is a £1 donation per player. Complete the entry form and email it to victoria.matthews@edf-energy.com. Why not enter more than one team to increase your chance of winning? There will be prizes for the winners and a medal ceremony. Also contact Victoria with any offers of help.
