How Clever is the Honey Bee – a talk by Alan Wells.

“The honey bee is one of the most studied insects on the planet and yet as much as we think we know about her, we probably really know only a fraction about her fascinating life; she is by turn a nurse, attendant, guard, undertaker, builder, dancer and forager.  She is, beside mankind, the only other creature that can communicate complex instructions on where the food is to be found by others.”
