The S&SC are helping Sue Ryder promote some of their fundraising activities this year. They would welcome participants from EDF in any of their events, including the Cheltenham Half Marathon in October. Look out for posters and leaflet around Barnwood with details of other events too.
Run the Cheltenham Half for Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court are looking for people to join their incredible team of runners taking on this year’s Cheltenham Half Marathon whilst raising much needed funds for the hospice.
As national charity partner for the event they have 100 places to fill and have had over 40 people sign up already. Last year’s runners raised over £30,000 for the hospice whose services include the only specialist palliative care inpatient unit in Gloucestershire.

Flyers will be available from the clubhouse along with posters outlining other events and challenges (including mud runs and treks) which you could take on if running is not your thing!
