Message for all S&SC Members:
Unfortunately, the majority of our S&SC activities remain suspended due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. Specifically at Barnwood, this means that the Gym, the Tennis Courts and Pavilion, including changing rooms are CLOSED. Although EDF Energy are now working towards bringing some staff safely back to working within the Barnwood office, there will be no immediate change to the situation regarding access to the S&SC facilities on site. This will be reviewed over the coming weeks as the new covid safe working arrangements at Barnwood settle in and if there are further developments in the government advice, and we will endeavour to provide safe S&SC opportunities on site at Barnwood as soon as we reasonably can. The S&SC Office on site also remains closed for the time being but, like the rest of Barnwood, we are developing plans to safely re-open in the near future.
An exception can be made to grant access to the pavilion lockers on a one-off basis for any returning workers who have items they need to collect. Please contact the S&SC Office via Anna.Eaton@EDF-Energy.com in the first instance
