SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19 – individual swimming can resume subject to risk assessment when the pool re-opens
The Swimming Section uses the pool at Brockworth Sports Centre, based at Millbrook Academy near Barnwood. As a member of the swimming section you will get a swimming card giving you a number of discounted swimming sessions to be taken used either at lunchtime, with a group from Barnwood or at your convenience during any public swim session at the pool.
- The lunchtime sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12.30pm to 1.30pm – meet at the loading bay exit to co-ordinate car share. Organised lunchtime sessions are not currently running
- Members can swim any time during public sessions at the pool – more details can be found on the Brockworth Sports Centre website
Membership is open to all Members and Associate Members of the EDF Energy (Barnwood) Sports & Social Club. Our membership year starts on 1st October and the Section subscription for 2017/18 is £25 for under 60s and £10 for over 60s.
