Fitness Training


The BWD Sports and Social club Fitness Training group are running tailored Circuit / Fitness training, via Zoom, which can be done in the comfort of your own home, garden or garage.  So, if you want/need a break from your Work From Home routine or just want to meet up to do some exercise, all you need to do it get in contact with either Michael Zodiates or Andre Clarke.

Times are 12.15 – 13.00 Monday and Friday.

On site sessions at Barnwood are suspended due to COVID-19.  Under normal circumstances, the following arrangements apply.  This will be reviewed when on-site activities can be resumed and updated as necessary.

Fitness Training sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime in the Barnwood S&SC Pavilion.

Tues 12:15 – 1pm

Thurs 12:40 – 13:30

In the summer months some sessions may be run on the grassy area outside the Barnwood S&SC Pavilion.

We have mats and other equipment (plus music). The sessions are led by a small number of S&SC members who are not professionally trained, so the exercises are to be treated purely as a social activity. Attendees cover a range of ages and abilities (male and female). You don’t have to be super-fit to join in, but you should be aware of your own capability to undertake sustained exercise.

Changing/showers are available in the Barnwood Pavilion. You should be an S&SC member  but the sessions are then free.
